Meridian 5G is a specialist provider of advanced connectivity solutions for superyachts, cruise ships and other demanding maritime applications. Founded by Julian Clemens (CTO) and Dasha Grupman (CEO), the company designs, develops and manufactures proprietary 5G DOME routers and leverages bespoke data contracts to provide reliable worldwide coverage alongside satellite links.

The technology is designed to meet the specific connectivity requirements of maritime vessels. It prevents signal loss in complex installation environments, extends LTE coverage up to 50 nautical miles from the cellular tower (covering the majority of typical cruising while guests are onboard) and stabilises performance in busy ports with fluctuating signals and overloaded networks.

As we build our own hardware and firmware, our engineering team can provide direct, expert support and adapt systems to complex, region‑specific network requirements. Our large installed base allows us to negotiate high‑volume data contracts and pass on competitive, predictable pricing, while multi‑network SIM packages ensure resilient roaming and strong performance worldwide. Today, Meridian 5G continues to expand internationally, bringing fast, stable and secure connectivity at sea, backed by responsive support from the team that created the technology.

Meridian 5G systems are deployed on more than 500 superyachts ranging from 30 to 150+ metres, over 200 cruise ships, and a range of government and commercial vessels worldwide. We are also proud of supporting multiple research vessels, including Falkor of Schmidt Ocean Institute.
